No wonder Ueno Park is extremely popular for hanami. I mean, who can resist all the gorgeous cherry blossom tress lining the pavement, the crowds all excited over pretty white and pink flowers, the children running around and the adults drinking?

The house is up for rental, are you interested? Well, if I were to be honest, it's more of a shack, without a proper roof or a main door. Still, the rental should be cheap?

These are white , or yaks. They live mostly on the high mountain slopes in Sichuan. The black ones are forced to work in the fields or killed for meat, while the 'prettier' white ones are used for tourism purposes - earning a quick buck for instant photos.

We were on the way to the Knight Templar, and decided to walk around King's college instead. It's so pretty, I wonder why I didn't make a more concerted effort to go abroad for my undergraduate degree.

We considered going up the Shard - we're a sucker for tall buildings and pretty city views. Thank goodness it was wayyyyyy too expensive, so we skipped the trip up. Spent the day walking along the river again.
